First, you have to create an account or sign into your EBSCO account. At the top right of the screen you will seen an option for "Sign In." Click on this and create an account or sign in to your existing account. Note: The username and password can be anything you want, as it's not associated with NNU and you will have this account after you leave NNU.

To set up an alert for new content on your search, from the EBSCO results page, there are three options at the top right of the results: Relevance Sort, Page Options, and Share. Click the Share option. You will seen an option for "Create Alerts". Click "Email Alerts". On the next screen you will see the subject as listing your search. In the "Email To" enter your email address. Below, you can set the frequency of emails: once per day, per week, etc. And, when the articles were published: last year, etc. You can also determine the type of record: brief or detailed. Brief is recommended to keep the file size smaller. Then, click "Save Alert." Contact a librarian at library@nnu.edu if you have questions about this process.
