Q. My professor noted on my paper that my second level APA heading was indented too far. How can I tell on the screen how many inches a line is indented?

In Microsoft Word you can view inches on your page by going to VIEW in your toolbar, then look to the left side of the tool bar and put a check mark in the little box marked RULER. Then you will see the marks at the top and edges of your paper and you can tell where things are.
